The buildings are designed and built as a total precast concrete structure using shear walls for lateral stability. RIZZ Engineering was involved in the structural design from the preliminary planning stages and value engineering sessions to the completion of construction.
RIZZ Engineering produced the erection drawings and cast-unit production drawings to the precast manufacturer’s standards.
The site consists of 1-storey of underground parking covering the entire site and (5) five student apartment buildings varying from 6-storey to 14-storey.
The parking garage has a gross floor area of 9,470 m2 (101,935 ft2).
Building 130-1 is an 8-storey building with a gross floor area of 5,015 m2 (53,980 ft2).
Building 130-2 is a 6-storey building with a gross floor area of 4,770 m2 (51,340 ft2).
Building 130-7/8/9 is a 14-storey building with (3) three towers and a gross floor area of 20,760 m2 (223,460 ft2).
Building 365-3 is a 6-storey building with a gross floor area of 1,650 m2 (17,760 ft2).
Building 365-5/6 is a 14-storey building with (2) two towers and a gross floor area of 16,130 m2 (173,620 ft2).
Each building has commercial space on the ground floor and the 14-storey buildings have an accessible terrace on level 7.
